How You Know Her: America got her start in the pop music group Soluna, but the singer turned to acting after the group dispersed in 2004. She's made appearances on the hit TV shows How I Met Your Mother and House, as well as the soap General Hospital. America went on to grace the screen as Dubai Beauty No. 1 in Iron Man, star in the latest version of Friday the 13th, and hit us hard in the movie Bitch Slap. Next up: Her short but sweet role as "Frisbee Girl" in Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen is sure to leave you with your hand over your heart.

Shortly after graduating with her bachelor degree as an Opera Singer from The Juilliard School in New York, America Olivo landed a spot opening for Ricky Martin in China. Upon returning from Asia to her native Los Angeles she met three other talented performers with whom she formed the harmonic music group Soluna. Only three weeks after the group was formed, Soluna was offered multiple record contracts and found themselves in a bidding war between labels. They eventually signed a multi-million dollar contract with DreamWorks Records with whom they had a top charting single, For All Time, and a dance hit, Bring It To Me, co-written by America Olivo and the members of Soluna.
